What next?

Aleah will reach out via email within a few days.

Do I have to place a deposit?

Yes. Aleah requires a $50 deposit, which will need to be placed for every appointment you have scheduled. This will then be applied to the price of your tattoo when you come in!

~IF YOU DON’T SEND A DEPOSIT, YOU DO NOT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!~

Is there a chance Aleah will decline my tattoo idea?

Yes. Aleah is most interested in taking on projects that allow her creative freedom through the design, sizing, placement. At this time she's most likely to take on projects with this subject matter: animals, pet portraits, storytelling illustration, video games and vintage/cottagecore aesthetic. She is also more likely to take on projects that can be finished in 1-2 sessions. Aleah is less likely to take on a coverup project, but it really depends on what is being covered, the client’s openness to ideas and how much the client is willing to invest their time and money into having it done right. She also may decline certain placements on the body.

How much does Aleah charge?

Aleah’s minimum is $100 and hourly is $130. However, Aleah tattoos quite fast and may charge a flat rate instead of hourly, depending on subject matter. Starting 2022 she only accepts CASH as payment - excluding deposits which can be made through Venmo or Cash App.

How do deposits work?

Generally, deposits are non-refundable. These are put in place to protect Aleah in the case that you no-show or cancel your appointment after she has already started working on your design. In most cases, Aleah has already worked on your design within 2-3 days of your appointment, but if you cancel well enough in advance that she hasn’t started designing she is happy to refund you.

What should I know while waiting for my appointment?

  • Aleah generally does not send drafts of the design beforehand, but your tattoo will always be drawn by the time you come in for your appointment and she is more than happy to make adjustments!

  • Aleah is a mom- unexpected issues may come up and she may need you to come in earlier, later or on a different day depending on childcare and her kiddo’s health. If this happens she will reach out to you ASAP via email or phone.

  • When making your appointment please make sure that the week following your tattoo won’t complicate the healing process: such as field work, camping trips, vacations that will have you in the elements.

  • Arrive on time, clean, well-rested, and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • Aleah cannot tattoo someone on certain medications like blood thinners, antibiotics, or medications the suppress your immune system.

  • Aleah cannot legally tattoo a person who is pregnant or has a communicable disease like the flu, fungal or bacterial skin infections, or the common cold. Do not come in if you are experiencing respiratory symptoms. If you are nursing, please include that with your appointment form/email when booking.

  • Eat a balanced meal at least 4 hours before coming in and drink plenty of water the day before your appointment, as well as the day of and during your appointment! A well nourished body will help you to produce endorphins, relax, and keep your blood pressure stable under stress- and being fully hydrated improves the elasticity of your skin. Feel free to bring a snack and something to drink.

  • Bring your ID. The state requires a current government issued picture ID, drivers license, or passport for ANYONE and EVERYONE who gets tattooed. No exceptions.
